Discover Peruâs Hidden Gem on the Run

If youâve already hiked Machu Picchu or are looking for a more remote, rugged, and rewarding challenge, the Choquequirao Express might be your perfect adventure. Designed for runners or fast hikers, this 2-day experience blends physical challenge with cultural immersionâwithout the crowds.
Choquequirao (pronounced Cho-kay-key-row) is often called the âsister cityâ of Machu Picchu, but itâs larger, more mysterious, and dramatically less visited. Reaching it by foot is no small feat, but thatâs exactly what makes it so rewarding.
Why Choquequirao?
â Remote and uncrowded
â Deep canyon views and lush cloud forests
â Authentic Inca ruins only accessible on foot
â Lower altitude than most treksâgreat for acclimatization
â Connects fitness, nature, and history in one epic journey
